Chapter 1—The Pick Up

“Kaiba, hurry up!” moaned Amanda as she and Mokuba stood at the front door of her apartment in Domino City. They were waiting for Seto Kaiba so they could go to the Camp Anime Counselor Conference (ill just call it CCAC for now). “But Amanda, I don’t to go to some dorky camp conference, I have a life you know!” yelled Kaiba as he locked the door to the bathroom. “Seti, we’re doing this for your brother, so get your but in gear and let’s move out!” Kaiba glared evilly at Amanda as she pulled him out the door by his ear. In a few minutes Kaiba was driving down the road to CCAC with Amanda in the front seat and Mokuba in the back. Amanda was singing the words to Black Velvet when all of a sudden the chorus comes in, “Black velvet and that little boy’s smile, Black velvet and that slow southern style, A new religion that’ll bring ya to your knees, Black velvet if you please” sings both Amanda and Mokuba. “Who’s bright idea was it for Amanda to bring her CDs.” growls Seto. “It was my idea,” Amanda squeals. Mokuba stares blankly at Amanda and shakes his head in amazement. After a few minutes of driving Amanda’s eyes suddenly widen she screams, “We forgot to pick up Ariana!” Mokuba replies, “Oh yeah we were weren’t we.” Kaiba yells with frustration, “Do we have to, we’re half way there already!” “Yah we have to, now turn around and let’s go pick up Ariana.” “You know I’m only doing this because you’re Mokuba’s friend…” “Yah, sure…” Kaiba turns the car around and starts driving towards Ariana’s house. Meanwhile at Ariana’s house everything is turning upside down. Ariana is trying to hand out everything to everyone. “No Sora, you cant take a PS2. Yami Sora, put the brownies back. Roxas, just take your cars keys and leave!” Roxas, Kairi, Namine, and Yami Sora all pile into Roxas’ 4-seater Toyota. “We’ll meet you there” says Ariana. Ariana goes up to her room and tries to get ready but upon walking into her room she finds sora wearing her best dress and lots of make-up. “Sora, what are you doing?” whines Ariana still stressed from all of the mornings activities. She cleans him up and puts him on the couch and he starts watching T.V. Finally, she gets dressed in her favorite pair of brown pants and her ‘The World Needs More Hugs’ T-Shirt. Then, the doorbell rings. Joey is standing there. “Is there any brownies left?” whines Joey. “No!” shouts Ariana as she slams the door in his face. She sits down on the couch and watches Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Sora but, after five minutes of peace and quiet the doorbell rings again. Marik is standing there. “Is there any brownies left?” he asks. “No!” shouts Ariana as she slams the door in his face. She goes back to watching the movie when five minutes later the doorbell rings again. Pegasus is standing there. “Is there any brownies left?” he asks. “No!” shouts Ariana as she slams the door in his face. She goes back to watching the movie when five minutes later the doorbell rings again. Tea is standing there. “Is there any brownies left?” she asks. “No!” shouts Ariana as she slams the door in her face. She goes back to watching the movie when five minutes later the doorbell rings again. Dartz is standing there. “Is there any brownies left?” he asks. “No and why are all you people so obsesd with brownies!” shouts Ariana as she slams the door in his face. She goes back to watching the movie when five minutes later the doorbell rings again. Bakura is standing there. “BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING IF IT’S ABOUT BROWNIES THEN I’LL SEND YOU TO THE SHADOW REALM WITH MY MILLENIUM DOLPHIN!” Ariana yells at him. “But I only wanted to borrow a cup of sugar.” He says (in his cute British accent. I just love his accent.) “Okay then. Here you go.” She hands him the cup of sugar and he walks away. Before she closes the door Amanda walks up. Ariana yells for Sora and they go down to Kaiba’s Mercades. “If you ruin the apolstery then I’m going to kick you onto the street!” Kaiba yells at Sora. They all get in the car and Ariana recounts the morning events to Amanda, Kaiba, and Mokuba.
