Chapter 1-Jack-o-lanterns

The room was filled with jack-o-lanterns that lay around a blond-haired boy with blue eyes that was sitting and staring out the window. Suddenly, the door burst open and in stepped a red-haired boy about the same age as the blond. “Hey Roxas, Superior wants a count of the—How’d you get ‘em all done that fast?” “I used to do this all the time for Halloween in Twilight Town, those were the good times, no Halloween Dance or having to find dates. There was only one thing bad about Twilight Town, it was that you were here and I was there.” The blonde replied looking sad at the thoughts. “Oh come on, Rox, you don’t miss it that much, do ya?” the red-head said with fake sympathy. “Axel, I know you’re faking it, so you got a date yet?” Roxas asked. “Yeah, I’m going with a girl named Mariah, how ‘bout you?” Axel replied. “Um, I’m actually not sure yet, I’ll probably go and find someone with Sora, I can’t actually believe that there’s a truce  on the holidays. I thought everyone hated each other.” He said with a smirk. “They do…” Axel said smirking as well. “Hey, do you have the time?” Roxas asked. “Um yeah, it’s 10:05 (a.m.)” Axel answered. ‘Oh crap, I’m late!!” Roxas yelled as he threw off his organization coat, revealing his regular clothes underneath and then he ran out the door. “I’m never gonna understand why he’s always late…” Axel muttered.
